Advice
If you are looking to replace any of your windows or doors then consider getting a window/door which reduces the chance of being broken into.
In any normal situation all entrance doors should be considered. However with the windows, the initial windows to consider are those with relative ease of access such as those on the ground-floor or above garages that stick out.
The main security standards to have on the windows/doors are:
- LPS1175 SR1 - all doors and windows
- PAS24-1 - all doors
- BS7950 - windows
