Advice

The banana is probably the most commonly known fairtrade fruit. They have become easy to find as most supermarkets are stocking them.
However over recent years the list of fairtrade fruit has increased to include:
- Apples
- Bananas
- Pineapples
- Avocados
- Citrus
- Coconuts
- Mangoes
- Grapes
We would recommend you navigate to the Fairtrade Foundation website to learn more about where these fruits come from and also where you can find them.
Other Sustainable Considerations
When you peel off the skin or don’t eat the core, then why not place it into your compost bin so the nutrients can be recycled back into the soil.
Try to have at least two pieces of fruit a day to go along side your one 250ml drink of fresh fruit juice and two portions of vegetables.
