Advice
There are a growing number of fairtrade wines available to buy. So whether you like your Cabernet Sauvignon or Chenin Blanc, there will be a wine for you.
Your local Co-op store is about the only main stockist that has a good range of red and white fairtrade wines. Otherwise you will need to either order a case online or locate smaller dealers of fairtrade products e.g. the One World Shop.
Other Sustainable Considerations
As a parent you might want to consider that in Europe (and in the UK), many parents allow their children to occasionally consume small amounts of wine (roughly half a glass) in the company of family. It is believed that this helps children to respect alcohol and understand its place in society.
