There are thee main fairtrade organisation, which work to ensure that products with fairtrade status help to pay workers properly, improve health and education to the workers and there families, as well as reducing the environmental damage caused by farming and industry.

European Fair Trade Association (EFTA) – The EFTA work with a range of member organisations in nine European countries. The producers in the developing world benefit from set prices for produce which allows the workers to receive a fair wage.
