The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA): Freedom Food

RSPCA: Freedom Food is a non-profit making charity set-up by the RSPCA to give their name to produce which has met very high standards in animal welfare. This includes every stage of an animals life, including when they are handled and transported.

The RSPCA will make an annual inspection of each member at least once a year and surprise inspect at least 30% on it’s members each year in addition to the compulsory visit. Failure to meet the high standards will mean withdrawal of the Freedom Food standard.
