Have you got something you can offer the developing world? A trade, profession, time, experience, etc?
There are many organisations around that you can contact to offer your services as a volunteer. The decision to do this must not be taken lightly as volunteering on this scale requires a lot of commitment and your 'heart' must be in it. Some of the main organisations can be found in the 'Links' on the right.
There are also a large number of smaller organisations that perform a large range of development projects. Make sure that you fully investigate any organisation and country you intend on volunteering for.
We would recommend that you start your investigations at the 'Foreign & Commonwealth Office,' (their website can be found in the 'Links' on the right) as they will provide you all sorts of advice including 'advice by country' and 'sustainable tourism.'
