Ever thought of serving your country without it becoming your main job then why not consider spending some of your spare time in the armed forces.
The Territorial Army (TA) makes up a large segment of the British Army and therefore there is a good chance that you will see active service abroad once you are fully trained and have enough experience.
The TA is always looking for men and women who are able to keep a good level of fitness as well as having a 'thick skin.' There is a minimum commitment (days per year) when joining the TA, but you are not tied in for any particular number of years. There is a huge number of careers available in the TA and the pay is exactly the same as it is for the regular army.
