Advice
Paper is possibly the easiest to recycle as it only needs to be put aside and then taken to the local recycling centre.
Nearly all kinds of paper can be recycled at your local community recycling centre. There are some exceptions including paper that has a plastic coating
As paper is the easiest material to recycle it could be used as a starting point to get your household or company to become more sustainable.
Other Sustainable Considerations:
Products made from recycled material are not always easy to find. However, toilet paper and kitchen roll are becoming increasingly more common in shops all around the UK. Purchasing products made from recycled material helps the market for this material to improve which will in-turn improve the collection of these materials.
Confidential paper such as bills, receipts, statements, etc should be shredded so your personal information is not easily found. I suppose a further consideration is to use a hand-wound shredder and reduce your reliance on electricity.
